ジャズやソウルの世界で各々がソロ・アーティストとして成功を収めているロウズ一家の兄弟姉妹、ヒューバート、ロニー、エロイーズ、デブラの4人が同じステージに立つ。4人はいずれもテキサス州ヒューストン出身。ヒューバートはフルート奏者、ロニーはサックス奏者として、ともにジャズ?フュージョン界の名プレイヤーとしての地位を築き、それぞれCTI、ブルーノートといった名門レーベルからソロ作を出す傍ら、裏方としても数多くの名作に参加してきた。一方、エロイーズ、そして妹のデブラはともにR&Bシンガー。舞台女優としても活動するエロイーズの''70年代のソロ作は後年クラブ方面から再評価され、デブラも兄たちが参加した''81年のキュートなソロ作がAORファンやR&Bファンから熱い支持を受けている。近年はエロイーズのアルバム『Secrets』のリリースを受けて4人でのステージも展開。ロウズ一家のジャジーでメロウなアーバン・グルーヴに酔いしれたい。
